Weekly Meeting

President greeted all members on World Yoga Day and Father's Day. In this meeting the following issues are discussed -Implementation of District Grant supported project Lab for Littles at five primary schools within first week of July 26. The preparation of upcoming event Doctors Day on 1st July 2026 and Installation programme on 26th July 26. President delivered his last address in RWM and congratulated every members for their Rotary activity throughout the RY 25-26. Members also greeted President with sapling and sweet.

In this meeting RC Guskara remembered Paul Harris, The Founder of Rotary International on his birthday (19th April) by offering garland to his portrait. Club decided the followings - * Submission of final report for reimbursement of expenditure incurred for the project funded by Rotary District 3240 Foundation Trust. * Rabindra Jayanti will be celebrated at Aambagan of Rtn Tapan Kumar Mondal. * Date of Blood Donation camp will be 17th May or 24th May, 2026.

In this meeting the following issues are discussed - 1)Rtn Tapan Kumar Mondal, contact person of the RD 3240 Foundation Trust funded project -Floor to Table- Installation of concrete tables and seating benches at Mid-day Meal Hall at Guskara P P Institution reported that the, the said project had been completed and it was ready to hand over to school authority for their students. Members of club given thanks to Rtn Tapan Kumar Mondal with clapping. The house decided the project will be inaugurated by Rtn Chandan Roy, AG, Zone-3 and handed over to the school on 16th April� 2026 at lunch time. Club requested to the President and secretary to arranged a short inauguration programme and to send the completion report of the said project with necessary documents to concern authority of RD 3240 Foundation Trust. 2) Discussed on the proposed budget of RID 3240 for RY 2026-27 and house requested Rtn Monimoy Mukherjee, PE, to send the feedback to concern leadership of district.

In this meeting following issues are discussed- *Completion of ongoing project at mid-day meal at GPPI are discussed. Project contact person Rtn Tapan Kumar Mondal reported that it will be completed within 25th April, 2026. It was primarily decided it will be handed over to GPPI on 17th April, 2026 through a small inauguration program. *Club decided "Rotary Club of Guskara Walfare Trust" will have to formed and Club President was requested to take necessary steps.

Celebration of Dol Utsab Club Service

Celebration of Dol Utsab

In the evening of 3rd March 2026 club organized Dol Utsab to Celebrate the (Colour Festival at the roof-top of Rtn Janaki Ranjan Sinha. The presence of Anns, Rlets and family members of rotarians made the evening colourful & joyful with respect to bonding & friendship. Rotarians delivered the short speeches on myth, relevancy, facts related to. Dol (Holi). Anns & Lets performed -songs, dance, recitation with the invitees of performers of Guskara Silpi Samanway. Celebration followed a delicious veg-dinner sponsored by Rtn Janaki Ranjan Sinha.

This meeting was held at residence of Rtn Mufti Sabir Ahammed at Guskara. After reading Object of Rotary and 4-Way Way Test Club President welcome all members and reported the successfully completed project Food Baskets Distribution to TB Patients for six months on 24th March, 2026. It is reported The proposal of "Lab for Littles" had been submitted for DDF on 26th March, 2026. Rtn Tapan Kumar Mondal reported the present status of the District Foundation Grant project. It this meeting the draft of the formation of Rotary Club Of Guskara Welfare Trust was placed. The present financial status of club was reviewed. The meeting was shuttered after a delicious invited dinner by Rtn Mufti Sabir Ahammed.

Assembly -DG Visit

In the evening of 21st Feb 2026 at Tilottama Lodge, Guskara the Club Assembly is held on occasions of DGs Official Club Visit. Rtn Mufti Sabir Ahammed conducted the meeting as MOC. The began with National Anthem. After reading the Object of Rotary and 4-Way Test Club President Rtn Dr Someswar Chatterjee delivered welcome address. Club Secretary briefed the secretarial report. After short speech by AG Rtn Chandan Roy the DG Rtn Dr Kameswar Singh Elangbam delivered the impactful speech. A tricycle is hand overed to a disabled person of Guskara. After felicitation of DG and AG, club wished Happy Birthday to Rtn Asit Mukherjee and Rtn Adorgopal Chowdhury and Happy Anniversary to Rtn Chandan Roy. The Assembly is shuttered & followed by a delicious dinner.

Charter Night Celebration

RC Guskara celebrated 24th Charter Night in the evening of 11th Sept 25. In this occasion Rtn Chandan Roy, AG, Zone-3, RID-3240 was invited along with two eminent speakers. After birthday cake, charter member Rtn Dr Shyamal Kumar Das delivered an emotional recapitulations on the the memorable day 11th Sept, 2002. The remarkable achievements of RC Guskara during last 23 years were highlighted by charter member Rtn Dr Subrata Ghosh. The various opportunities - self & professional development, friendship in international level may be acquired through RC were discussed by invited eloquent speaker Rtn Dr Prem Agarwal.The speach "How to make the Weekly Meeting interesting" by invited speaker Rtn Sabarno Dey inspired the club member. AG, Rtn Chandan Roy wished the members with love and respect mentioning the recent activities of RC GUSKARA. Independence Day Celebration

Members of club, Anns, Rotarylets and family members attended In Independence Celebration programme in the morning of 15th August at the Court ward of Mango forest of Rtn Tapan Mondal. The National Flag TERANGA is hoisted jointly by Club President, Senior Rtn Tapan Mondal and Ann Banashree Mallick.Rtn Dr Shyamal Kumar Das directed The National Anthem. He also presented a short speech on Independence Day and Integrity. Rtn Subrata Ghosh in his attractive speech informed the others country which also achieved the freedom on the same day 15th August. Rtn Girija Prasad Mallick recited a poem on Independence Day. The wonderful morning of Independence Day ended with the massage "Unite for Good" followed by sweets, snacks and tea.

24th Installation Ceremony

In this ceremony Club President, Club Secretary and BOD are installed for RY 2025-26. Mr Abhishek Dey, RM Burdwan, SBI, Rtn Chandan Kumar Roy, AG Zone-3, Mr Kushal Mukherjee, Chairman, GM were present as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Special Guest, respectively. Presence of Rotarians of other RC of Zone-3, Anns, Rlets and others as invitees made the programme meaningful. Rtn Samir Kumar Maji, outgoing President reported the achievements of RY 24-24 in his welcome address. Outgoing Secretary Rtn Adorgopal Chowdhury reported day to day activities of RY 24-25. New President Rtn Dr Someswar Chatterjee highlighted the planing RY 25-26 of RC GUSKARA in his address. New president Rtn Malay Pal announced the next programme of the Club. All dignitaries congratulated the new BOD. The souvenir " SEVA" is published. In this programme some bright students are facilitated for their great achievement in MP and HS examination.
