Rotary Club of Guskara organised an awareness programme on dengue at Community Hall, Ward-4, Guskara Municipality at 7:00 pm to make aware the community about the prevention, tretment and control of Dengue. In this programme 46 residents attended and were aware. In this awareness programme Rtn Dr Shyamal Kumar Das and Rtn Subrata Ghosh acted as health professional. Rtn Dr Shyamal Kumar Das focused on the epidemiology of dengue while Rtn Dr Subrata Ghosh highlighted the etiology of dengue. Invited Chairman of Municipality, Councillor of the ward, Sanitary Inspector, ASHA of the word informed the what measures have been done and appealed to the community to co-operate and to attach with dengue related projects and events for prevention and controlling the dengue. Lastly, leaflets "Do & Dont" regarding dengue are distributed to the community as ready reference to take measure to prevent, control and treatment of dengue.
